One person was flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment of serious injuries following a crash on Pembroke Road Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 3:45 p.m. in the area of Jerry’s BBQ Shack between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle. A male victim in his 30’s had to be extricated from the vehicle, according to Hopkinsville Fire Department and EMS Lt. Payton Rogers, who says he was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of serious injuries.
There was a child that was a passenger in the vehicle who was assessed by EMS at the scene and was not injured.
