A Hopkinsville woman was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle, rollover crash on the Pennyrile Parkway near Crofton Tuesday night.
According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, it happened around 9 p.m. near the 24-mile marker of the Parkway when a tire on the vehicle driven by 50-year-old Lisa Sutton blew out. That caused her to lose control of the vehicle while she was heading southbound. The vehicle overturned and collided with a rock wall and embankment before coming to a stop.
Sutton had a serious injury to her arm and was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville after receiving treatment on the scene.
