The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the theft of a dirt bike from West Seventh Street.
According to the police report, the victim stopped at the Sunoco gas station on West Seventh and ran inside, and when he came back out, he discovered that an unknown suspect had taken his 2020 Red Hawk 250 motorcycle.
The vehicle—which is described a red, street legal dirt bike—is valued at roughly $2,400.
The incident is being investigated a felony theft of an automobile.
