After their last reunion was over a decade ago, former Christian County High School educators are organizing a reunion for former and current teachers and staff.
Former Christian County High School teachers, Alicia Lancaster and John Henderson appeared on WHOP to share details about the upcoming reunion.
Lancaster worked as an educator in the county for 33 years and Henderson worked as an educator for 27 years in the county.
Henderson says the idea for a reunion came to him as he was reflecting on when he last saw his former coworkers.
Lancaster says the reunion is an opportunity for her to connect with her past teachers as well as her students that have gone into teaching.
Lancaster says those planning on attending need to RSVP and pay the $20 attendance fee by September 16. Attendance fees can be paid via PayPal and Venmo at CCHSTeacherReunion or via a check to 16644 Lafayette Road.
The reunion will be on September 23 at noon at 220 Glass Ave in the Christian County High School cafeteria.
