Details have been released by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department about a two-vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Eagle Way Bypass and Cadiz Road Tuesday.
According to the wreck report, a vehicle operated by Kathryn Spann of Hopkinsville was in the left-lane heading north on Eagle Way at the same a vehicle driven by Brenda Miller was heading north in the right-lane.
As they approached the intersection of Cadiz Road, Miller allegedly tried to take a left onto Cadiz Road and traveled into the path of Spann. Spann’s vehicle came in contact with the rear Miller’s, causing it to overturn. Miller’s vehicle came a stop on its roof.
Miller had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for complaints of multiple injuries, while Spann and her passenger were not injured.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
