One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash on North Jessup Avenue Friday night.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department collision report, it happened around 10:30 p.m. when the brakes in the vehicle being driven by 31-year-old Deaudry Civils of Hopkinsville reportedly failed. He lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway and striking a tree.
Civils was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for pain in his leg and head.
