West Second Street bridge reopens to traffic, pedestrians

After closing for surface repairs on July 11, the Hopkinsville Public Works Department announced the reopening of the West Second Street bridge today.

The bridge, which is over the North Fork of Little River, has reopened to traffic and pedestrians, but repairs are not yet finished, according to the news release.

It states that the bridge approaches which connect the roadway and the bridge are still rough and contractors will repair them soon.
