The Goodwill Industries of Kentucky will be hosting an expungement clinic in Hopkinsville on August 3.
Expungement is how a record of criminal conviction is erased from state record, and the expungement order directs the court to treat the criminal conviction as if it had never occurred, essentially removing it from a defendant’s criminal record.
The Hopkinsville clinic will take place August 3 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Kentucky Career Center at 110 Riverfront Drive. The event will be capped at 50 participants and walk-ins will not be admitted the day of the clinic.
