The Hopkins County Board of Education has voted to push the school year start date for Hopkins County students.
The move come after a vote held by the board Tuesday, and is due to the continued construction delays at Hanson Elementary School. The first day of school for Hopkins County Public Schools for the 2023-2024 school year will now be Tuesday, August 15.
