Leadership Hopkinsville gives awards, names new class

The next 30 members of the newest Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County have been announced, and the program has also given out some awards.

At a ceremony on Thursday, the Leadership in Action Award was presented to Lucas Stagner, and the Legacy of Leadership Award was awarded to both Ruth Lynch and Sandy Grogan.

The class of 23-24 will be led by Jason Wilson and Bri Smith, prior graduates of the program, and will soon begin a nine-month venture to learn more about the community from a perspective that people may not usually witness. They will get highlights from areas such as agriculture, the justice and corrections system, the military, industry and arts and heritage.
