Four charged in connection with theft from vehicle

Four Hopkinsville men were charged with felony theft in relation to a theft from a vehicle and use of a stolen credit card.

According to Hopkinsville police, 27-year-old Cortez Johnson, 22-year-old Detaevious Finch and 21-year-old Fedrick Reeves and 21-year-old Douglas Wilford, all of Hopkinsville, allegedly unlawfully entered the victim’s vehicle and stole a credit card and approximately $3,500 from inside.

That credit card reportedly was later used to purchase over $500 in items.

All four are charged with felony theft by unlawful taking and fraudulent use of a credit card.
