A Hopkinsville man has been charged with assault after he allegedly cut a person with a razor blade during an incident Tuesday night.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, a physical altercation began between 31-year-old Cory Carneal of Hopkinsville and the victim at a residence on Rozelle Avenue around 8:30 p.m. At some point during the altercation, Carneal allegedly struck the victim above the right eye with a razor blade, causing serious physical injury.
Carneal was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
