The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released its 2022 ‘Crime in Tennessee’ report, showcasing some crime statistics in the state.
According to a news release, reported incidents of murder, rape and kidnapping all decreased from 2021 to 2022, falling by double-digit percentages. The number of reported DUI arrests decreased from 19,656 in 2021 to 17,794 in 2022.
However, the number of identity theft victims jumped, up 25.55 percent in that same timeframe.
