Two Hopkinsville residents charged with burglary

Two Hopkinsville residents were charged with second-degree burglary after they allegedly entered a home they didn’t have permission to be in Saturday night.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to a residence on South Main Street that was being used as an Airbnb after 38-year-old Travis Matlock and 35-year-old Tamonika Cole, both of Hopkinsville, entered the building through the kitchen door unlawfully.

The people staying there told officers they did not know Matlock or Cole and had not invited them inside.

Both were arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
