A Hopkinsville man is facing a second-degree burglary charge after he was arrested on strength of a warrant out of Todd County Saturday.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, 18-year-old Jayden Drake of Hopkinsville is accused of entering a home on Marion Street in Elkton in May and stealing items—he then reportedly hid them under a nearby vehicle.
He was arrested Saturday after allegedly shoplifting from the Huck’s gas station on Lafayette Road, and police served him with the warrant. He is charged with second-degree burglary for the incident in Todd County and additionally charged with theft by unlawful taking in Hopkinsville.
