The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to hold a public meeting on Thursday, July 13, to allow residents to review plans designed to improve KY 281 in Hopkins County.
According to a news release, the meeting will be held at Hopkins County Extension Office located at 75 Cornwell Drive from 5p.m. to 7p.m. and will include a formal presentation at 5:30p.m.
Cabinet engineers have studied the 2-lane and 3-lane urban section with curb and gutter that runs from Island Park Drive to Pin Oak Lane and both alternates include a 5-foot sidewalk on the west side of KY 281.
Options from Pin Oak Lane to the end of the project includes improvements to Carriage Lane.
All documents will be available on the KYTC District 2 webpage on July 14 for the viewing public.
