Hopkinsville man federally indicted for meth trafficking

A federal grand jury has returned an indictment against a Hopkinsville man for trafficking in methamphetamine.

According to a news release, 30-year-old Stephen Antwain Taylor of Hopkinsville charged with possessing with the intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. This case is being investigated by the United States Army CID at Fort Campbell and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the DEA Paducah Post of Duty.

If convicted, Taylor faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and up to a maximum sentence of life in prison. There is no parole in the federal system.
