A teenager was injured in a shooting incident from Sunday night on East 21st Street.
Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Mike Atkins says officers were called to the James Village Apartments about 8:45 p.m. for shots fired and were notified that a 17-year old male had arrived at Jennie Stuart Medical Center soon after with a grazing gunshot wound to the ankle.
Officers recovered three unspent bullets and one shell casing at the scene and the investigation into the incident continues.
A man at the scene was arrested on outstanding warrants, but no one has been charged in connection with the shooting.
