Severe weather will be possible with a storm system moving through the region Sunday.
The Storm Prediction Center has all of western Kentucky under a slight risk for severe weather Sunday, with damaging winds and large hail the primary threats.
Severe weather will be most likely during the afternoon and evening hours.
The good news is the region will receive much-needed rain, with the current forecast showing the southern Pennyrile region getting an inch to an inch and a half of rain.
