A stolen vehicle was recovered Sunday afternoon in Hopkinsville and the driver was arrested.
A FLOCK camera alerted Hopkinsville police of a 2019 Buick Encore that had been reported stolen in Clarksville and officers located it parked in the area of North Drive and West Second Street.
An arrest citation says 29-year old Lakwundra James of Clarksville was in the driver’s seat and a computer check confirmed the car to be stolen and her license to be suspended. James was also sought on a Kentucky warrant for failing to appear in court.
A search of the car allegedly revealed an open bottle of liquor, loose marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
James is charged with felony receiving stolen property, possession of an open alcohol container, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.
