The next week of weather is looking to be bright and calm, as rain chances remain very minimal through Memorial Day weekend.
Mike York with the National Weather Service in Paducah says the next seven days will be peaceful, with only a slight chance of pop-ups storms on Tuesday and Wednesday, but most people will remain dry.
Next week could see a return to more normal summer-type weather, with temperatures possible in the upper 80’s, with low 90’s not out of the question.
That could also bring some storms in the heat of the afternoon next week, but nothing significant is in the forecast at this time. Memorial Day itself could see some rain, but the weekend itself is looking clear.
