A Hopkinsville man was arrested for felony wanton endangerment Friday afternoon after he allegedly pointed a gun at a woman during an argument on Maplewood Street.
The arrest citation for 20-year old Timothy Kirkland of Hopkinsville alleges he pulled the 9 mm semiautomatic pistol from his pants during the argument with his girlfriend at a home in the 1800 block of Maplewood and that he pointed it at the victim while threatening to kill her.
A witness confirmed the story and Kirkland was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree terroristic threatening.
