An early morning fire damaged a Tanglewood Drive home.
Hopkinsville firefighters were called to a home in the 3900 block of Tanglewood about 2:30 a.m. after a neighbor saw smoke coming from the residence.
Lt. Payton Rogers says three stations responded and found fire in the garage and attic above.
There was moderate smoke damage throughout the home, but the fire was contained to the area of origin.
Lt. Rogers says no one was home and there were no injuries.
It’s possible overnight storms may have contributed to the fire, but it remains under investigation.
