About 116 high school juniors from Christian County Public Schools were at the FUSION seminar Thursday at the Bruce Convention Center learning about co-op work opportunities for their senior year.
Sandra Hancock is the district’s student transition coordinator and says those students learned about several topics relating to work during the school year and life after graduation.
She says the district already has many partners who have offered co-op opportunities to their students and they are always looking to add more.
Any business or industry who hasn’t partnered for co-op opportunities in the past can simply contact Hancock at the school system if they’re interested.
Students spent the entire school day at the Bruce Center and heard from several speakers and representatives of local businesses, agencies and industries.
