Flags at half-staff Monday for two solider killed in crash of helicopters

Flags are half-staff at state office buildings in Kentucky Monday as two of the nine Fort Campbell soldiers killed when two Black Hawk helicopters collided and crashed March 29 in Trigg County will be laid to rest.

An email from Governor Andy Beshear’s office says funeral services for 33-year old Warrant Officer 1 Jeffery Barnes will be held at First Baptist Church of Clarksville and services for 36-year old Chief Warrant Officer 2 Zachary Esparza will be in his home state of Missouri.

Governor Beshear encourages all individuals, businesses, organizations and government agencies to join in this tribute.
