A Breckinridge County man was injured Saturday morning when he fell asleep at the wheel and crashed on the Pennyrile Parkway.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Andy Sanderson says Ronald Jeffries of Westview was southbound near the 14 mile-marker about 4:30 a.m. when he fell asleep and went into the median.
His vehicle traveled about 500 feet before coming to a stop.
Jeffries was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
