WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt takes over Tie Breaker Park Friday evening

What has come to be known as one of the fastest egg hunts around returns with a new twist Friday evening at Tie Breaker Park.

Make sure to bring your egg hunting baskets and a flash light to the WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt Friday at 7:30 p.m. as over 20,000 eggs will be ready to be gathered and prizes to be won.  Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says it was time to change things up some with the egg hunt, and she thinks kids will have a ton of fun hunting for eggs with flash lights and glowsticks in tow.

They will be handing out the grand prize—$98.70—at about 7:15 p.m., so Rudd says make sure you get to the fields early with plenty of time to register your child. She says to make sure you check your eggs before you leave to see if you’ve found one of the numerous prize eggs.

The WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. and all those eggs will go fast. Kids ages 8-year-old to walking are welcome to participate in the hunt.

It’s all free to attend and more information can be found on the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
