This year’s WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt at Tie Breaker Park will be a nighttime affair.
It will commence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 7, which is Good Friday, and Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says they were looking for a way to change the event up a little.
She reminds to bring your own bag to collect the eggs, get there early and this year you’ll need to bring a flashlight.
All of the age groups remain the same and youngsters ages walking to 8 can participate.
In addition to the grand prize of $98.70, there will also be other age-appropriate prizes that the boys and girls may find in their eggs on the night of the hunt.
It’s all free to attend and more information can be found on the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
