>>NFL Owners Meetings Preview

(Phoenix, AZ)  —  The annual NFL owners meetings are set to begin in Phoenix on Sunday.  One of the main items on the agenda will be a possible finalized extension for Roger Goodell to continue as league commissioner.  ESPN reports that a Goodell extension has been in the works since last season.  The sale of the Washington Commanders is not formally on the NFL owners meeting agenda.  The Athletic is reporting that the topic is more likely to be discussed during the league’s spring meeting in Minnesota in May.  Other topics likely to be discussed include proposed rule changes for the upcoming season.  One of the new rules that has been proposed is the ability to make roughing-the-passer penalties subject to review or challenge.

>NASCAR Cup Series Starts First Road Course This Weekend

(Austin, TX)  —  The NASCAR Cup Series field is in Austin this weekend for the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix.  The first road course this season will pit drivers against each other at the Circuit of the Americas.  Joey Logano is looking to build on his Ambetter Health 400 win last weekend as he sits atop the standings.  Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney and Brad Keselowski round out the top five.  Chastain won last year’s race while Bell came in third place.  The green flag waves from Austin Sunday afternoon.

>Predators Edge Kraken In Shootout

(Nashville, TN)  —  The Predators are keeping their playoff hopes alive following a 2-1 shootout win over the Kraken in Nashville. The Predators will host the Kraken in a rematch tomorrow afternoon.

(Nashville, TN)  —  Nashville SC is back on the pitch tomorrow night kicking off against FC Cincinnati in Nashville.
