Trial date set for complicity to murder suspect

There is a new trial date in the case against Tyron Holt, the man charged with complicity to murder in the death of Gailon Toler in Oak Grove.

Appearing in the courtroom of Christian Circuit Judge Andrew Self, Holt’s attorney requested they go ahead and set a trial date, as there appears to be no conflict with the special prosecutor that will be on the case.  Judge Self agreed at set a trial date of August 14.

A pretrial hearing was set for June 28.

Toler was shot multiple times at the steps and entryway of a Tyler Street mobile home in May of 2022. Toler was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner’s Office.
