Greenville man sentence to 20 years on child pornography charges

A Muhlenberg County man will spend the next 20 years in federal prison for producing, distributing, receiving and possessing child pornography.

According to a news release, 31-year-old Corey Allen Stephens of Greenville will be on supervised release for the rest of his life following the completion of the 20-year sentence, and there is no parole in the federal system. He has also been ordered to pay restitution to the victim in the amount of $3,000.

Stephens used a social media app to chat with others, and in the chat, he posted an image of his sexual abuse of a toddler. Homeland Security officers traced the chat to Stephens’s home, where agents recovered additional evidence of child pornography offenses.

The case was investigated by the Homeland Security Investigations and the Kentucky State Police.
