Grand jury returns indictments for abuse, felony theft

Several indictments were returned by a Christian County Grand Jury Friday, including for criminal abuse against a child under the age of 12.

Thirty-five-year old Yarumy Grimaldo of Pembroke was indicted for first-degree criminal child abuse, for allegedly intentionally abusing a minor child under the age of twelve between August 12 and August 18 of 2022, by placing the child in a situation that may cause serious injury or by causing cruel punishment.

Indicted for felony theft by unlawful taking of an automobile is 20-year-old Miques Crutcher of Oak Grove, who is accused of unlawfully taking a 2023 Toyota Camry that did not belong to him.

Indicted for felony theft by deception is 39-year-old Tiffany Gilkey of Hopkinsville—she allegedly stole money belonging to T-Mobile between December of 2021 and January 2022, by not making cash deposits into the business’ bank account.
