Pennyrile Electric has restored power to all of its members in Christian and Trigg counties and only about 1,100 remain in the dark in the eastern section of their area after severe weather and historic winds knocked out service to over 25,000 members on Friday.
Around 40 or so of the remaining members in the dark are in Todd County, while the rest are in Muhlenberg, Logan and Butler counties.
Pennyrile’s linemen and their contractors have been hard at work restoring outages since Friday’s weather knocked out service to as many members as the 2009 ice storm.
