>>Reds Crush Dodgers; Play Athletics Today

(Phoenix, AZ)  — Meanwhile, the Reds crushed the Dodgers 7-1 in Phoenix.  Nick Solak blasted a home run while Nick Lodolo struck out a pair of batters over two scoreless innings to earn the win.  The Reds welcome the Athletics to Goodyear this afternoon.

>>Cubs Go Down Against Brewers

(Phoenix, AZ)  — The Chicago Cubs fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 6-3 in Spring Training yesterday.  Drew Smyly gave up two runs in two innings of work to get tagged with the loss.  Nelson Velazquez hit a home run in the losing effort.  The Cubs are 1-and-4 in Spring Training.  Hayden Wesneski takes the mound for Chicago against Seattle today.

>>Cardinals Beat Nationals

(West Palm Beach, FL)  — The Cardinals earned a 5-3 win over the Washington Nationals in Spring Training yesterday.  Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt both went yard in the victory.  Matthew Liberatore started the game and pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the win.  The Cardinals are 3-and-1 in exhibition play, and they host the Astros tomorrow.

>>Braves Continue Spring Training

(North Port, FL)  — The Braves are continuing their Grapefruit League action.  Atlanta lost to the Minnesota Twins 10-7 in Fort Myers yesterday.  Kevin Pillar homered and drove in three runs while Vaughn Grissom was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate in the losing effort.  Ian Anderson was handed the loss on the mound in his spring debut.  The Braves fell to 1-2-and-1.  They will host the Tampa Bay Rays this afternoon in North Port.
