Rotary gearing up for the return of the Rotary Radio Auction

Rotary Radio Auction time is fast approaching once again and the Rotary Club of Hopkinsville is in the midst of getting ready for their busiest week of the year.

Brandon Killebrew is this year’s auction chair and says his theme—“Making An Impact”—is all about showcasing how the auction and the club has helped individuals and the community.

The auction will take place the week of April 17 at the War Memorial Building, and it will air live over the radio on 98.7 Lite FM on weeknights and Saturday.

Killebrew says the auction is always a hectic, fun time and is a chance for local businesses to give back to the community with auction items while also putting their name out there.

Killebrew says they’ll be bringing back all the usual favorites, including the diner, and they’ll be reminding people about the hour club and goat club donations that always help make the auction a rousing success. No fundraising goals has been set, with the plan—as always—to raise as much as possible to benefit local youth.
