Kentucky Seeks to Continue Stifling Pitching This Weekend

With a three-game winning streak in tow, Kentucky will host its first home weekend series when Wright State arrives at Kentucky Proud Park for three games that begin Friday afternoon. UK (3-1) has allowed just six runs all season, making it one of the best pitching staffs in the country so far, and a small ball, chaotic approach offensively has the Wildcats leading the nation in sacrifices. The approach has worked thus far and former D-III star Logan Martin will earn the nod on the mound Friday with Tyler Bosma (Saturday) and Zack Lee (Sunday) to follow. First pitch on Friday is set for 4 p.m. ET. Wright State traveled to Hawaii on opening weekend and lost three of four games to the Warriors. The Raiders were a NCAA Regional team each of the past two seasons.
