Despite a slow start the Colonels did what was expected and used their athleticism and size advantages to roll to an easy victory. Including a running clock the entire second half of the ball game, and an ability to use exclusively non-starters, deep bench players in the 2nd half. No one who scored in the first half played in the second half, and vice versa.

No one had more than twelve points, everyone except KJ Vaughn on the varsity listed KHSAA roster scored.
Hopkinsville 55 UHA 52
UHA missed a shot with 7.7 to play and Hopkinsville’s Antonio Williams got the rebound and was fouled with Hopkinsville up one at 53 to 52. He hit both free throws to put Hoptown up by 3 at 55 to 52. UHA would have a shot with 7.7 to but it would be no good and the win and advance to the championship game Thursday night against Christian Co.
