Christian County Schools to Remember Pablo Sanchez with Celebration of Life

Christian County Public Schools has announced a Celebration of Life to honor Pablo Sanchez on Friday, February 17. Mr. Sanchez was a teacher and coach at Hopkinsville High School who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday.  The ceremony to honor his life will be Friday at 4 PM, on the track at the Stadium of Champions.

“Coach Sanchez was such an integral part of HHS,” said HHS Principal Cindy Campbell. “He took on so many roles in the school. Aside from being a teacher, he was a coach, bus driver, and athletic events manager and did whatever was asked of him. If there were kids involved, Coach Sanchez was there. He loved being a part of the lives of our students.  Our prayers go out to his family, friends, and his students and athletes.”

The Celebration of Life will follow the 2 PM memorial service for Coach Sanchez on Friday at the First Christian Church in Hopkinsville.  All current and former athletes coached by Coach Sanchez are encouraged to wear their team t-shirts. The planned ceremony will include a balloon release and a time of remembrance for Coach Sanchez.
