Over $3,500 was raised for Christian County Relay for Life at their annual kickoff breakfast Saturday morning at First Baptist Church.
Pam Futrell with Relay was pleased with a steady turnout that kept the room full of folks enjoying their morning together while supporting a good cause.
She reminded that much of the money raised by Relay stays local to support people who are battling cancer and their caregivers.
While a date hasn’t been set for this year’s Christian County Relay for Life, Futrell says they’re looking at possible dates in August and September.
