A Hopkinsville man has been arrested on a warrant that alleges he raped a co-worker earlier this month.
It says on January 2, 40-year old Curtis Harris of Hopkinsville entered a bathroom where the victim was cleaning at a local hotel and that he began touching her in a sexual way without her consent.
He’s then accused of holding her down and forcing sexual intercourse onto her.
After the incident, the victim immediately called police and went to Jennie Stuart Health for an examination.
The victim denied any prior relationship with Harris, while Harris told police the encounter was consensual.
Harris is charged with rape in the first-degree and is lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
