HCA Falls to Rebels of Todd Central

The Law of Averages played out on Wednesday Afternoon.

HCA scores around forty-five points per game and give up around sixty. Todd County Central scores around sixty a game and gives up around forty-five.

By Wednesday approaching evening the Rebels had defeated the Warriors 67-37.

Just a 16-12 lead for Central at the end of the first quarter and a twelve point lead at the half, HCA seemed in this game.

Then came a second half where the Trojans seemingly lit themselves on fire, could not miss, and HCA took some very low percentage shots thanks to an aggressive Central defense.

Jamison Glass ended up with twenty-five for the Trojans, Carlos Robles and Jason Leek combined for twenty-seven for the Warriors.

The two-three defense that Central likes to stay in they increased the press and pressure out of in the second half and as it has most all season that and the physicality in the paint doomed HCA.

Still an incredibly valiant fight by the Warriors and give Manny Diaz for fighting as hard as he could with Glass and holding his own at times.

That being said the Warriors have a quick turnaround in the Battle at the Border Tournament.

They will face a Hopkins County Central team Thursday at three pm. The Storm are going to be irritated with themselves and looking to cleanse their pallet after an unforeseen, and probably inexcusable loss in their mind, loss to Central Magnet out of TN.

The Storm bring some serious size and length into the game. They also have a knock down shooter or two. HCA has to come to play if they hope to pick up a much needed and wanted W.
