This is traditionally one of the busiest travel periods on the calendar and local law enforcement agencies are urging motorists to be on the lookout for snow and ice on roads throughout the Christmas weekend and of course never drive while impaired.
Kentucky State Trooper Corey King says travel conditions are likely to improve as crews have more time to plow and treat Saturday and Sunday, but still give yourself extra time and be on the lookout for snow and black ice on all roadways.
And the message we send every Chrstmas—never get behind the wheel impaired as it could put you in jail or even worse, it could lead to death or serious injury.
KSP and other law enforcement agencies will be out in full force this weekend looking to stop anyone driving unsafely or impaired.
