A Tennessee man was killed in an accident Wednesday morning on I-24 in Montgomery County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated and determined 27-year old Ronald Taylor and 27-year old Sara Baker, both of Tennessee, were merging onto the eastbound lanes from Exit 8 when Taylor went into the median and then re-entered the lanes and striking Baker’s vehicle at an angle.
Taylor then crossed both lanes, went through a guard rail and down an embankment.
Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene and Baker and the driver of another vehicle hit by debris were not injured.
Police say both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
