Tribble says farewell to fiscal court

Christian County Judge-Executive Steve Tribble said his goodbyes Tuesday morning to Christian Fiscal Court, but says he is not entering retirement.

Tribble has served since January of 1994 and while he lost his bid for another four years in the general election, he intends to find a new path that doesn’t include staying home.

He says it’s been a joy and honor to serve these last 29 years.

Judge Tribble says he’ll support Judge-Elect Jerry Gilliam and the incoming fiscal court in any way he can during the transition.

He thanked the current fiscal court and prior magistrates who have been willing to put political party aside to work together to get the county’s business done.

Judge-Elect Gilliam was among those thanking Judge Tribble for his service during remarks given in public comments.
