>>Bengals Officially Sign Drue Chrisman

(Cincinnati, OH)  — The Bengals are formally signing their new punter.  Drue Chrisman was signed from the practice squad after the team released franchise veteran Kevin Huber earlier in the week.  Head coach Zac Taylor also announced Hayden Hurst is doubtful to play this weekend as he works through a calf issue.  The 8-and-4 Bengals host the 5-and-7 Browns Sunday afternoon.

>>Tennessee Titans Fire GM Jon Robinson

(Nashville, TN)  — The Titans have fired General Manager Jon Robinson.  He was hired as GM in 2016 and saw the team make the playoffs four times during his tenure.  Titans’ owner Amy Adams Strunk said she believes the team has made significant progress on and off the field, but feels there’s “higher aspirations to be met.”  The team is currently in first place in the AFC South and has three game lead over the Colts.  The 7-and-5 Titans play the 4-and-8 Jaguars in Nashville Sunday afternoon.

>>Derrick Henry Named Walter Payton Man of the Year Finalist

(Nashville, TN)  — The NFL has announced nominees for this year’s Walter Payton Man of the Year award.  It’s described as “the league’s most prestigious honor” and the winner gets a quarter-million dollars donated to a charity of their choice.  Titans’ running back Derrick Henry has been nominated.
