RV/#24 Cardinals Race Past Cougars, 105-32
The RV/#24 Louisville women’s basketball team got back in the win column Tuesday night against SIUE at the KFC Yum Center. The Cardinals (6-4) had a historic night across the board, propelling them past the Cougars 105-32. Hailey Van Lith led all scorers with 21 points, giving her 1,004 career points. She is the 32nd player in program history to achieve the milestone as a Cardinal. Van Lith has recorded 20 or more points in five of nine games played this season. Morgan Jones recorded eight steals on the night, tying the highest single-game steals total by a player in the ACC this season. Chrislyn Carr has now scored in double figures five out of her last six games, tallying 14 points on the night. Josie Williams chipped in a season-high 11 points in 20 minutes of playing time.
Govs dominate Kentucky Christian, 102-57
Austin Peay State University’s Drew Calderon tallied career-highs in 3-pointers made (6) and attempted (11), as the Governors canned a season-high 13 treys in a 102-57 win over Kentucky Christian, Tuesday, in the Winfield Dunn Center. Austin Peay (5-5) won its 11th-straight contest against a non-Division I program. The Governors snapped a seven-game skid against teams from The Bluegrass State. Austin Peay has won three-straight and nine of its last 10 December non-conference home games. The Governors broke the century mark for the first time since a 102-38 win at home over Carver on Dec. 4, 2020. The Knights lost their fifth-straight game overall and sixth-consecutive true road game.

(Undated) — Memphis beat Little Rock 87-71 in college basketball action. The Tigers are now 7-and-2 and play 14th-ranked Auburn on Saturday. Tennessee is 7-and-1 following a blowout win over Alcorn State. The 7th-ranked Vols entertain Eastern Kentucky tonight. Vanderbilt hosts Pittsburgh tonight. Kentucky and Louisville are off until this weekend.
