(Paradise Island, Bahamas) — The number-21 Tennessee Volunteers picked up their third consecutive win with a 73-66 overtime victory over USC in the Bahamas. Olivier Nkamhoua hit a game-tying lay-up with a minute left in regulation to send the game to overtime, where the Vols outscored the Trojans 11-4. Julian Phillips poured in 25 points in the victory. The 4-and-1 Volunteers go up against number-three Kansas today.

(Orlando, FL) — The Memphis Tigers gave-up a game-winning three at the buzzer in a 70-69 loss to Seton Hall at State Farm Field House. Tyrese Samuel hit to bucket to give the Tigers their second loss of the season. Kendric Davis scored 22 points in the losing effort. Memphis falls to 2-and-2 overall with the loss. The Tigers take on Nebraska in the ESPN Events Invitational today.
>>Vanderbilt Basketball Beats Fresno State
(Anaheim, CA) — The Vanderbilt Commodores got back to .500 with a 67-59 win over Fresno State at Anaheim Arena yesterday. Tyrin Lawrence hit a go-ahead lay-up with just over three minutes left in regulation to put Vanderbilt up for good. Lawrence finished the game with 19 points, and Liam Robbins led the way with 20. The 3-and-3 Commodores are at VCU on November 30th.
Lady Toppers and Cornell Square Off for First Time
WKU women’s basketball will take on Cornell on Friday, Nov. 25 in Ithaca, New York at noon (CT). It will be the first ever meeting between the two teams and just the eighth time WKU has played a team from New York.
10th Meeting For Racers & Mocs Saturday
The Murray State Racers (3-2) hit the road for a Saturday game at McKenzie Arena to take on the Chattanooga Mocs (2-3). Tip time in Chattanooga, Tennessee is set for 6 p.m. Central Time. The Racers lead the all-time series with the Mocs 7-2 including their 00-00 win at home about a year ago. The Racers are playing at The Round House for the fourth time and the first since 2010 when the Racers won 73-65.
Racers Travel To Alabama A&M Saturday
The Murray State women’s basketball team travels to Alabama A&M Saturday in search of its first road win of the young season. Tip-off from the brand-new AAMU Events Center in Normal is scheduled for Noon.
Gibbs Named to Hostilo Hoops Community Classic All-Tournament Team
After leading Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team to a win at the Hostilo Hoops Community Classic, senior Liz Gibbs was named to the event’s all-tournament team, Wednesday. Gibbs averaged 7.7 points 3.0 rebounds and a .471 field-goal percentage at the three-day event and enjoyed her best day as a Gov in APSU’s 53-46 win against Fairleigh Dickinson, Tuesday. Gibbs is the first Gov to earn an all-tournament selection in a mid-season event since APSU alumna Tahanee Bennell and former Gov Shay-Lee Kirby were named to the FIU Holiday Hoops All-Tournament Team in December 2019.
