The two women charged with murder in the 2006 death of Roscoe Mayes on Greenville Road continue to await on evidence to be sorted out.
In Christian Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon, defense attorney Brandi Jones—who represents Annastaja Hathaway—informed the judge that they continue to work through the evidence and see what they have and do not have, but they hope to have everything squared away soon.
In the meantime, Judge Andrew Self set a pretrial hearing for January 11 for both suspects, Hathaway and Lashanda Person.
Hathaway and Person are both charged with murder and first-degree robbery in the 2006 death of Mayes.
