(Knoxville, TN)  — Tennessee earned a dominating victory over the college football weekend.  The fifth-ranked Vols crushed Missouri 66-24 in Knoxville and are now 9-and-1.  Vanderbilt upset 24th-ranked Kentucky 24-21 to earn their first SEC win since 2019.  The Commodores are now 4-and-6 while the Wildcats fell to 6-and-4.  Louisville struggled on the road against Number-10 Clemson in their 31-16 loss.  The Cards dropped to 6-and-4.

Hilltoppers Dominate Rice 45-10 to Secure Bowl Eligibility

WKU jumped out to an early lead on its first possession of the game and never looked back as the Hilltoppers beat Rice, 45-10, to secure bowl eligibility for the fourth-consecutive season, and the 11th time in 12 seasons. The Tops advanced their record to 7-4 for the year with the win, including a 5-2 mark in Conference USA play. Because of WKU’s 13-game schedule with a trip to Hawaii, the Hilltoppers needed to win seven games instead of six to become bowl eligible this season. WKU also honored its senior class prior to kickoff.

The Murray State football team scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter Saturday to rally and beat Robert Morris, 27-9, Saturday on Senior Day at Roy Stewart Stadium in Murray, Kentucky.
