A man was killed in a hit and run vehicle versus pedestrian collision early Wednesday morning in Hopkins County.
Deputies were called to the 400 block of Tippett Road near Hanson about 12:30 a.m. regarding a person in the road and they found 30-year old Zachary Higgins of Hanson dead from his injuries.
Investigation determined Higgins had been struck by an unknown automobile that fled the scene.
